1240 CJCS getting new home on FM dial

A new era is dawning for 1240 CJCS.  The CRTC has approved an application by Vista Radio, the owner and operator of CJCS, to move the station from AM to FM.

Wendy Gray is the General Manager of CJCS and 2day FM and National News Director for Vista Radio.  She says not much is going to change with the flip:

She says Vista Radio and the station will remain committed to the community as well:

That support includes things like the annual I Love My Gallery Auction.

The new station will be broadcasting on 107.1 FM but will be simulcast on 1240 AM for three months.  There’s no set timeline yet on when CJCS will move to FM.
