Stratford Cullitons hold dominating 3-0 series lead

Cambridge brought heat but no firepower last night to the William Allman Arena.

The Winter Hawks racked up 36 penalty minutes including two for head contact and one for checking from behind.

However, the Stratford Cullitons still shut them out 2-0 and now lead the best-of-seven series 3-0.

The Cullitons took six minutes worth of penalties during the game.

Shane O’Brien and Brett Heaman each scored for Stratford.

Nick Caldwell turned away 32 shots for the shutout.

He’s only allowed one goal in three playoff contests.

The Cullitons can take the brooms to Cambridge tonight at the Galt Arena Gardens.

Game Four begins at 7:00pm.

1240 CJCS will carry the game live starting at 6:45pm.
