Stolen car goes on road trip

A car that was stolen near St. Marys has been found near Ridgetown.

The Perth County OPP says the car had been left unlocked with the keys in it.  It was stolen this past Wednesday from a farm on Line 15.

The car was then spotted by police near Chatham just after midnight on Thursday.

The woman driving the car kept going when police tried to pull her over.  They later found it in a heavily damaged in a cornfield and arrested a woman who was found nearby.

The OPP is reminding you to lock your car doors and take the keys with you when you park it.
