Garlic Festival getting bigger this year

Garlic Festival is back again this year.  Organizers say it’s going to be the biggest one yet.

It features garlic growers, chefs and cooks of all kinds, contests, and children’s entertainment.  New events this year include a Garlic Tasting Competition and the Garlic Braiding Workshop has been expanded to both days.

They’ve added a twist to the Garlic Chef competition this year as well.  Audience members will now have the chance to win a space on the judges’ panel.

The 9th Annual Stratford Kiwanis Garlic Festival is happening on September 12th and 13th at the Old Fairgrounds.  You can find more information at the Garlic Festival’s website.
