Observant citizen gets credit for arrest

The OPP is crediting an observant citizen for an arrest.

Monday night officers were called to Perth Line 86 just west of Listowel.  Someone had spotted a suspicious teenager on a bicycle near a church.

When the officers arrived they found the youth had some stolen property on him.  The 15-year-old from North Perth has been charged accordingly.

The OPP says your calls do make a difference.  They’re encouraging people to call the police when they see any suspicious activity or person in their neighbourhood.
