Tom Mulcair was in Stratford today. It’s his third stop in the area in about five weeks.
Mulcair took some time to talk with 1240 CJCS/107.7 2Day FM ahead of his visit.
He says Ontario is an important battleground in the upcoming election and that the NDP platform is getting a positive response in the province:

Mulcair believes Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s economic plan isn’t working:

He says Harper has no one to blame for the state of the Canadian economy except himself:

Mulcair, if elected, plans to cut taxes for small and medium businesses while raising taxes on the largest corporations in Canada.
Mulcair says those small and medium businesses are the real job creators:

Although the NDP would raise the corporate tax rates on the largest corporations, Mulcair says they would not raise personal income taxes:
