The Avon Maitland District School Board has approved a pair of tenders for school renovations.
The bid from Elgin Contracting to renovate Bedford Public School for just over $1.3 million was accepted.
SDI Builders’ bid of about $931,000 to renovate Eastdale Elementary in Listowel was accepted as well.
Both tenders are subject to ministry approval.
