Health Care study to be released this morning in Stratford

Health care budget cuts will be discussed in Stratford this morning.

A new report will be released at the Royal Canadian Legion on St Patrick Street.

It chronicles the impact of these cuts especially on sick, frail Ontarians who are being pushed out of hospital while still acutely ill.

The study says the hardest hit are the elderly who are not getting the rehabilitative therapies and restorative care they need.

The report will be released at 10:00am at the Legion featuring representatives from the Ontario Council of Hospital Unions and the Canadian Union of Public Employees.

For more information, go to the OCHU website.
