A local filmmaker wants to see movies at Stratford City Hall. Â Craig Thompson pitched his idea to city council Tuesday night.
It would see the City Hall Auditorium used as a modern digital theatre. Â Independent and alternative movies would be screened.
Thompson, who owns Ballinran Entertainment, has put together a YouTube video outlining his proposal.
City council voted to have the finance committee examine Thompson’s idea.
In the meantime a Facebook page has been set up to get feedback on the idea from the public.
