Attempted abduction in St Thomas

Police in St Thomas are investigating an attempted abduction.

They need the public’s help after two eight year old girls were approached Saturday on Owaissa Street.

A man in an older model full sized red pickup truck asked the girls if they would like to go for a ride.

When they refused, he tried to pull them inside the truck.

The girls fled to a nearby home and called police.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 40′s, approximately 5’10 with black curly hair and a beard.

He was wearing a black three-quarter length coat at the time.
