With the icy and slippery weather almost here the Perth District Health Unit is spreading the word on the dangers of falling down.
November is Falls Prevention Month.
The PDHU says falls are the leading cause of serious injury in older adults.
With that in mind the agency is partnering with local organizations for Healthy Aging Mini Expos.
They’re happening at select flu shot clinics and focus on things like risk factors associated with falls, how to prevent them and what to do if you do fall.
The first expo is happening tomorrow in Stratford at the Rotary Complex from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
