Starting next summer you’ll have to remember three area codes.
On June 4th 548 will be introduced to southwestern Ontario, including Stratford. It’ll join the existing 519 and 226.
The new code won’t change any existing numbers.
It’s needed because the increase in communications technology has caused a large demand for telephone numbers. 548 will provide millions of new phone numbers.
