Grandmothers Campaign fundraiser in St Marys

The Stephen Lewis foundation will be in St Marys at the end of the month.

It will be holding a fundraiser for its Grandmothers Campaign.

Argentinian story teller Marta Singh will present ‘A Dubious Blessing: Two Old Women Speak’.

The funds raised go to support the millions of children in Africa who have been orphaned by AIDS and are now being raised by their grandmothers.

There will be two performances.

One will take place on Saturday, March 29th at 7:00pm in St Marys United Church and another on Sunday, March 30th at 2:00pm in St James Anglican Church.

Tickets are $20 each and must be purchased in advance.
