Stratford News Hardeman says rural funding going to Toronto businesses SHARE ON: Ethan Rabidoux, staff Wednesday, Mar. 12th, 2014 The Oxford MPP is mocking the Wynne Government’s record on Agriculture funding. Ernie Hardeman is asking the Liberal Premier just how much money from the Rural Economic Development Fund went to corporations in the GTA. Kathleen Wynne is also the Minister of Agriculture. She announced last September that this new fund would help strengthen Rural Ontario. It has now been revealed that four companies in Woodbridge, Toronto and Markham received money from this fund. Hardeman says downtown Toronto businesses should not benefit from money set aside for small rural economic development.
