An event at the West Perth Fire Department this morning has been cancelled.
Randy Pettapiece and fellow MPP Ernie Hardeman were to join Doug DeRabbie from the Insurance Bureau of Canada and members of the fire department to raise awareness of the importance of carbon monoxide detectors.
The icy road conditions are being blamed.
The involved parties hope to reschedule sometime in the coming weeks.
