“Sexting” leads to serious charges for Oxford County teens

Two Oxford County teens face charges after a “sexting” incident.

The OPP says the incident happened in Oxford County between February 1st and March 5th.

The allegations involved the possession and sharing of nude pictures on mobile devices of a 13-year-old girl. 

Police say the accused and the victim are all acquaintances. 

Two boys, a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old, have been charged with possession and distribution of child pornography. 

Their identity will not be released in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
