Stephen Ouimette named Director of the Festival’s Birmingham Conservatory

Stephen Ouimette has been named the Director of the Birmingham Conservatory. Ouimette will serve a three-year term.

The Stratford Festival’s Birmingham Conservatory trains talented young actors for a future in classical theatre.

He’s taking over from current Director Martha Henry who announced in December that she would be moving on after this year. The Festival says Ouimette and Henry will work together for the next year to ensure a smooth transition.

Ouimette has been an actor and director at the Stratford Festival for 21 seasons.
