Local festivals receive Celebrate Ontario grants

A bunch of festivals in our region received big cash injections from Celebrate Ontario.

The grant is given out every year to promote tourism and culture in the province.

The Stratford Festival got $300,000, Springworks hauled in $41,000, Stratford Blues & Ribfest netted $36,000 and Stratford Summer Music received just under $90,000.

Celebrate Ontario is a provincial grant opportunity for new and existing festivals.
