The Huron County OPP cracked down on distracted driving last week.
They charged 47 drivers in the run-up to yesterday’s fine increase.
If you get caught talking on your phone or texting, eating, drinking, doing your hair and makeup while behind the wheel or reaching for something in your backseat you will now face a fine of $280.
