Man found with cocaine after traffic stop

A North Perth man is facing a drug charge after he was pulled over in Listowel.

The OPP says just before 2:00 a.m. on Sunday a patrolling officer spotted a weaving car on Elizabeth Street West.

When the officer talked to the driver he was displaying signs of impairment.

The driver was taken to the North Perth OPP Detachment where he failed two breath tests.

He also had some cocaine on him.

The 43-year-old has been charged with impaired driving, “Over 80”, and possession.

He has a court date set for April 23rd in Listowel.
