Connect Youth gives young people a new online resource

The United Way has launched a new website for young people in Perth and Huron counties. It’s called Connect Youth.

Connect Youth is linked to the 211 database which is continually updated by the United Way. The website can point people to things like where to find a job and youth clubs as well as more serious issues like how to deal with homelessness and how to raise a child.

Executive Director Ryan Erb says it makes sense to have the website because young people have technology in their hands every day.

Connect Youth was a team effort by the Rotary Club of Stratford, the Rotary Club of Mitchell, United Way of Perth-Huron and Conceptual Pathways.

You can see it for yourself here.
