Lois Marie Bart, age 83, formerly of Greenwood Court passed away peacefully at Cedarcroft Place on April 16, 2016. She was born in Kincardine, June 3, 1931, daughter of the late Norman and Elva (Tout) McTaggart. Beloved wife of the late John Bart who predeceased her October 25, 2004. Loving mother of Carol Koch,  Donna Bart and Bill Bart (Lisa). Grandmother of Kathy Albrecht (Roger), Sharon Eckhardt, Mary Anne Musselman (Rob), David Musselman, Russel Musselman (Selena), Steve Bart (Lisa), Nicole Bart and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Gary McTaggart (Betty) and Shirley Gilmoure (Cliff). Also survived by a sister-in-law Frances McTaggart and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Lois was predeceased by her son Michael (1974), by a granddaughter Beverly Koch (1988), by great grandchildren Hailey Eckhardt (2001) and Ryan Albrecht (2008) and by her brother Norman McTaggart (1989). Lois had worked as a Silk Finisher with Burtol Cleaners and later The Other Alternative Dry Cleaners. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Army, Navy Ladies Auxiliary. Lois enjoyed camping at Wildwood and Happy Hills for many years and could often be found doing crafts and playing cards. Friends and relatives may call at Greenwood Court Chapel, 90 Greenwood Drive on Wednesday, April 20, from 2-4 p.m. Visitation will continue at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 21 at 11:00 am. Rev. Fr. Dick Bester will officiate. Interment at Avondale Cemetery.
