Council ratifies deal with Perth County Paramedics

Perth County Council has ratified a three year deal with its paramedics. The deal includes wage increases of 1.5% this year and next and then an increase of 1.25% in 2018.

Fulltime paramedics will also get one more sick day starting in 2018 and updated flexibility for part-timers when it comes to bereavement leave. The probationary period for new paramedics has been increased.

The Perth County Paramedics provides service to all four of the county municipalities as well as Stratford and St. Marys.
