Spring snowfall brings slew of crashes

The Perth County OPP says Thursday’s snow seemed to have caught some drivers off guard.

Officers responded to 14 crashes between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Police say most of them involved a single vehicle rolling and getting stuck in the snowbank.

One of the accidents caused a short power outage when a hydro pole was broken on Line 32 southwest of Sebringville.

No one was seriously hurt in any of the crashes.
