Travelers are being urged to exercise caution on the roads today due to potentially icy conditions. A freezing rain warning has been canceled for our area, but Environment Canada says the accumulation of a few millimetres of ice may lead to hazardous travel conditions on untreated roads. Warnings are still in effect for other areas of Southern Ontario this morning, with a potent disturbance delivering a relatively brief but rather intense period of precipitation, including snow, freezing rain, and rain.
