Randy Pettapiece says the Ontario Retirement Pension Plan is a cash grab.
The Perth-Wellington MPP says it also puts people’s jobs at risk.
Late last week the Liberal government passed the ORPP Act.
Pettapiece says they’ve already been warned about the effect it could have on employment.
The ORPP will force millions of Ontario workers to fork over 1.9% of their annual earnings to the provincial government.
Pettapiece is encouraging the people of Perth-Wellington to write to him about their thoughts on the ORPP.
