A Stratford woman has written a children’s story inspired by those big local birds.

Tarra Trachsel Green’s book ‘Sammy Swan’s Summer Adventure In Stratford’ is now for sale at FriesenPress.com.

Trachsel Green says her inspiration was a walk with her son around the Avon River.
