Ontario is investing in advanced manufacturing in Stratford. A partnership between the government and Schaeffler Canada was announced this morning.
The company is getting $1.3 million from the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund to add two assembly lines and buy new equipment. The government says that will open up 44 new jobs and keep 382 positions.
Schaeffler Canada designs and manufactures rolling bearings and related systems for cars.
