Beat the heat

It’s going to be extremely hot today and you’ll need to find some ways to beat the heat.

With the humidity factored in temperatures are going to reach nearly 40 degrees. It’s important to drink plenty of cool water and avoid overly strenuous activity on days like this if you can.

There are also a number of places you can go to cool off if you don’t have air conditioning. Places like the Stratford Lion’s Pool and the Anne Hathaway Park Splash Pad are a good choice for children.

There’s also the Kiwanis Community Centre, the Stratford Public Library and the walking track at the Rotary Complex. The Festival Marketplace Mall is another air conditioned option.

You can find more information on the hours each facility is open at the City of Stratford’s website.
