A familiar face is the new staff sergeant for the Perth County OPP.
Stephane Pilon has returned to the area after spending the last three years managing the detachment in Moosonee.
He first joined the Perth County OPP in 2008.
Pilon is taking over from the retired Joel Skelding who served as Perth County staff sergeant for 10 years.
He has 25 years of policing experience having joined the OPP in 1992.
Pilon says he’s pleased to be back in Perth County.
