GRCA keeping an eye on water levels

We’re in for consistently warmer weather this week.

The temperature in our region could rise to 12 degrees tomorrow.

The warmer weather and rain in the forecast means the Grand River Conservation Authority is keeping close tabs on water levels.

The GRCA says we’ve got a bigger snow pack than normal for this time of year but it is not anticipating major flooding in the immediate future.

However, this is just the start of the spring thaw.

A few low-lying areas may end up under water.
