Willard Bennewies, 85, of Mitchell and formerly of McKillop Township passed away peacefully at the Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell on Wednesday, August 10, 2016.
Beloved husband of Norlene Bennewies. Dear father of Kieven Bennewies and Pam, Keith Bennewies and Michelle, Perry Bennewies and Kathy. Dear father-in-law of Sandra Smith and Terry. Loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear brother of twin brother Earl Bennewies and Laura, Jean Drager and Wilfred, Raymond Bennewies and Marjorie, Cheryl Rock and Earl. Lovingly remembered by the Dietz family and his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Norman and Adeline Bennewies, grandson Braden Bennewies, brother Harold Bennewies and sister Elaine Bossence and Roy.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brodhagen on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Harold Brill officiating. Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
