Cost of stamps going up

It’s going to cost you a lot more to send a letter.

Canada Post is jacking up the price of its stamps by 35 per cent today.

An individual stamp will cost you one dollar – up from 63 cents.

If you buy them in bulk, the stamps will cost you 85 cents each.

The higher cost coincides with the crown corporation’s move to cut door-to-door mail delivery across the country and replace it with community mail boxes.
