Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday August 17, 2016 at St. Marys Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. Rose was born 89 years ago in Milverton and was the daughter of the late Lewis & Emmeline (Schmidt) Gamble.
Beloved wife of the late Fred Egerdee who predeceased her April 1, 2005. Loving mother of Lewis & wife Bev of Chaffey’s Lock, Kathy & husband Mark Henry of Thorndale and Doug & wife Karen of Milverton. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Chad (Natasha), Chrysta, Justin (Steven), Jared (Amy), Ryan, Tyler (Shelby) and great-grandchildren Jaxson, Nora, Naydean and Hailey. Remembered by sister-in-law Vivian Gamble. Rose was predeceased by her sister Helen & husband John Chalmers, brothers Bill & wife Helen Gamble, Andy Gamble, Robert Gamble and Carl in infancy.
Rose was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Milverton where she was a former member of the St. Peter’s ELW.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Rose’s life will take place on Saturday August 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Milverton where Pastor Helen Toman will officiate. Refreshments and fellowship will follow in the church basement. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton. As expressions of sympathy donations may made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or Stratford General Hospital. Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, Milverton assisted with the arrangements.
