John “Jack” F. O’Reilly, 86, of Mitchell passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Stratford General Hospital on Friday, March 28, 2014.
Husband of Margaret O’Reilly. Father of Janet Greenwood and Dave, Gary O’Reilly and Deb, Pat O’Reilly and Mary Margaret, Dennis O’Reilly and friend Catherine, Marlene Luyten and Ken, Carolyn Houben and Bob, Tom O’Reilly and Deb, Sandra McCarthy and Dan and Jim O’Reilly and Charlene. Loving grandfather of 27 grandchildren. Dear brother of Angela Walsh. Dear brother-in-law of Frank Haggarty, Theresa Haggarty and Angela Haggarty.
Predeceased by his parents Louis and Stella O’Reilly, brother Louis in infancy, daughter-in-law Nancy O’Reilly and granddaughter Kayla O’Reilly.
Jack enjoyed country music and will be greatly missed at Lakeside Dance Hall.
Visitation at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Mitchell on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Spring interment in St. Columban Cemetery. Memorial donations to the C.N.I.B., Ronald McDonald House, London or St. Vincent de Paul Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
