Ruby Marie Doell, age 89, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on March 29, 2014. Ruby was born in Ellice Township, daughter of the late Frederick and Leona (Gaul) Doell, She had lived in Wartburg before coming to Stratford in 1967. Ruby was a member of 2nd St. John’s Lutheran Church, Wartburg where she taught Sunday School for many years. Ruby is the loving aunt of Warren Doell (Debbie), Larry Doell (Hilary). Great aunt of Michael (Faye), T.C. (Yvette), Braden, Melissa Proulx (Nathan), Mandie and great great aunt to Ainsley, Ian, Megan, Hannah, Thomas, Christopher and Sophie. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother Howard Doell and his wife Dorothy and by a niece Jennifer Colleen Doell. Friends and relatives may call at 2nd St. John’s Lutheran Church, Wartburg where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 1st at 1:30 p.m. Rev. William Kramer will officiate.
