Save VIA petition being sent to MPs this week

Chris West’s Save VIA petition is heading to parliament.

The online petition has been signed over 4100 times.

It states in short that Canadians are entitled to VIA service that serves their needs and that VIA train schedules be restored.

The petition was started as a response to the cancellation of trains 86 and 89 in October of 2012.

West will be forwarding the petition along to all MPs this week.

You can find more information about Save VIA at their Facebook page.
