Hometown Hockey coming to Stratford

Stratford has been chosen to host a Rogers Hometown Hockey event.

Now in its third season Hometown Hockey travels across Canada to celebrate the passion hockey fans have.

At each stop, Rogers hosts a free two-day event filled with activities and celebrations that include music, NHL alumni, and entertainment. The City of Stratford is also planning an extra two days of celebration.

It’ll conclude with Ron MacLean and Tara Slone broadcasting live from Stratford during an NHL game between the Avalanche and the Maple Leafs.

The festivities begin in Stratford on December 8th and wrap up on the 11th. The city says more details will be announced as they become available.
