Wilma Butson, 90, of St. Marys and formerly of Mitchell and Staffa, passed away peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, September 7, 2016.
Beloved wife of Jack Butson for 64 years. Dear mother of daughter Rae Young and Bill, sons Keith Butson and Laura, Jeff Butson and Janice, Jim Butson and Kathy. Devoted grandmother of Ian Young and Elisabeth, Robyn McClinchey and Josh, Lucas Fazakas and Christi, Stacey Batten and Jason, Bevan Butson and Becca, Brent Butson, Sarah Butson and Wade, Jennifer Butson and Taylor, David Butson and Kayla. Loving great-grandmother of Avalon and Finlay Batten, Isla Young and Josie McClinchey. Dear sister of Margaret Miller. Dear sister-in-law of Betty Dow and Mary F Dow.
Predeceased by her grandson Devan Butson, brothers Elmer, Mervin and Roger Dow, sisters Velma Doupe and Lorne, Gladys Allen and Eldon and brother-in-law Russell Miller.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rob Congram officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Private family interment in Staffa Cemetery.
