United Way releases Transportation Survey results

The United Way Perth-Huron says people want transportation alternatives.

That’s according to a survey conducted in the two counties.

The United Way says the survey garnered over 600 responses.

According to the organization responses indicated that the lack of transportation is often preventing people from getting to essential services like healthcare.

It also led to job loss for nearly 15% of respondents.

The results of the survey will be used to inform recommendations for improving transportation in Perth and Huron Counties.
