Check smoke and CO alarm batteries when you turn the clocks back

The clocks get turned back this weekend and the Stratford Fire Department says it’s a good time to check some batteries.

Specifically the ones in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Fire Inspector Rod MacDonald says you do need both:

Clocks go back one hour Saturday night. Get in touch with the Stratford Fire Department if you have any questions about smoke or CO alarms.
