Stratford groups looking for used medical supply donations

Two Stratford groups want your used medical supplies.

Murray Schlotzhauer, a member of the Stratford and District Agricultural Society, is teaming up with the Stratford Mission Depot.

The supplies will be sent to nations such as the Dominican Republic and Cuba.

Schlotzhauer says his wife was in the inspiration for the decision:

Donations will be accepted during the SDAS’s regular office hours and during the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays at the Agriplex on McCarthy Road.

Here is a list of things you can donate:

–air casts, wheelchairs, walkers, canes and crutches
–sunglasses and reading glasses
— Ball caps
–pillow cases which will be sewn into dresses
–used but clean flannel sheets which are sewn into diapers
–toothbrushes, small soaps and shampoos
–bandages
–hockey bags (to carry supplies)
–medicines in the original bottle
