John Nater is encouraging business owners in Perth-Wellington to apply for the Canada Summer Jobs program.
The application window opens on Monday and runs until January 20th.
The MP says it gives young Canadians a chance to get the skills and experiences they need to find jobs now and in the future. Employers will know if they’ve been approved in early to mid-April.
Nater is disappointed with that, as he had lobbied to get the employer notification window moved up. Go to Service Canada’s website for more details on the Canada Summer Jobs program.
