Waterloo Siskins advance to Sutherland Cup round

The Stratford Cullitons made it to the mountain top for the fourth time in five years.

Once again, they were denied entry into the Promised Land.

The team’s season came to an end Saturday night when the Siskins triumphed 5-4 in Game Six to win the Cherrey Cup.

Deven Kropf, Jake Pleon, Drew Gross and Tyson Baker each scored for Stratford but it wasn’t enough.

Nick Caldwell took the loss in net.

Waterloo will go on to play Caledonia in the Sutherland Cup round.
