Habitat expansion in Lake Victoria

The creatures that live in Lake Victoria in Stratford are going to be getting some new homes.

The Rotary Club and the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority are installing some new habitats. Steve Sauder with the authority says people may have already seen the structures on the riverbank:

Sauder  says the wooden frames will make a good home for a variety of life:

The authority says the habitats are a spot repair and demonstration project that may inform the city’s future plans for fixing the north shore. They’re being installed Tuesday at 10:00am.
