The Stratford House of Blessing says its Protein Project has been a success.
Last year a $2,000 grant from the Stratford Perth Community Foundation’s Melanson Family Fund was given to the food bank. The money was used to increase the amount and variety of high-protein foods available to people who go there.
The House of Blessing says it’s now looking for ways to sustain the program, especially as the demand for the service increases. As always the House of Blessing is inviting people to donate anything they would serve to their own family.
