Snow squall watch in effect

A snow squall watch is in effect for Perth, Huron and Oxford counties.

Environment Canada says the squalls, as well as lake effect flurries, are expected to develop late this afternoon and move through the region tonight. Between 10 and 15 cm of snow is possible.

The squalls will last into Friday in some areas. Be ready for hazardous road conditions.

Environment Canada is keeping an eye on things and will issue more updates as needed.
