The Oxford County OPP is investigating after a dog was found dead in Zorra Township. The dog was frozen in a cage.
It was found Tuesday near the bank of the Thames River on the 15th Line just south of Road 64.
The dog was a dark, brindle colour and was wrapped in a red and white floral patterned blanket. It was wearing a silver metal prong collar but no tags were found.
The OPP says the OSPCA has gotten involved in the investigation. If you know anything about this dog you’re asked to call the Oxford County OPP at 519-485-6554 or 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
