The Christmas Spirit was alive and well in a couple of Good Samaritans.
The Oxford County OPP says on Christmas Eve a man found more than $250 at an ATM in Tillsonburg. He waited around for half an hour in hopes the owner would return and when they didn’t he turned the cash over to police.
Then on Boxing Day a man found more than $250 U.S. on the sidewalk outside the ONRoute on the 401 in South-West Oxford Township which was also turned over to police.
The Oxford County OPP says it’s hoping to reunite the money with its rightful owners.
