The United Way Perth-Huron has announced this year’s Youth in Action grant recipients. They’re the Active Minds at South Huron and South Huron Nerd Nights.
Active Minds is a program at South Huron District High School aimed at erasing the stigma of mental health issues.
Nerd Night is a regular event hosted by The Cultural Collective in Exeter where youth can play board games and socialize in a safe, public environment. They’re looking to expand to Huron Park.
